Bryan Lindberg, LMFT

The Marriage and Family Therapy Center is located in Galax, Virginia and is the private practice of Bryan Lindberg.

Mr. Lindberg opened his practice in 2004 after he and his family moved to Virginia.

Bryan has four separate post-graduate degrees.; Master of Art in Religious Studies from Providence College, a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island, a Master of Theology from Trinity College, and a Doctorate of Apologetics from Trinity Seminary. He is also certified in addiction counseling.

Prior to Virginia, he was licensed in Rhode Island where he also practiced. Dr. Lindberg has over twenty of clinical experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and over thirty years as a counselor.

He specializes in Systemic Theory, which is that all aspects of living are connected. This is to say that an issue is not isolated, it effects many different components and a solution is found by examining the entire system.

Bryan believes that the “human endeavor” is one in which we strive to achieve something of significance. The action of endeavoring requires effort, or pains, directed to attain something of significance. His effort is to assist others in their endeavor.

I remember, the year was 1987, and I was all too familiar with the hard pack of horseshoe beach that outlined three sides of the bay. I was a 23-year-old testosterone pumping machine. A perfect specimen for Dive School and my instructor’s job was to break the machine. I ran that horseshoe six times prior,

Everywhere the human soul stands between a hemisphere of light and another of darkness; on the confines of the two everlasting empires, necessity and freewill. —Thomas Carlyle Freewill means we get free range. The idea is that we get to choose for ourselves. The choice then becomes personal, as in you choose how to think,
